Open Law Workshops

The Open Law – African Conference is an annual event that brings Legal Information Institutes (LIIs) and those who support free access to law together to discuss the contributions of free access to strengthening democracy, the rule of law and development.

This year's conference will focus on identifying how to build, consolidate and strengthen partnerships that will facilitate sustainable free access to law services in Africa, support governments in facilitating access and build bridges between the open data movement and free access to law community. The Conference will bring a wide range of stakeholders together to consider issues around developing free access to law policy and standards, forging partnerships that will facilitate free access to law in Africa and adopting concrete measures that will realise these goals.
